Culture
The Jewish Community of Oporto is the European organization that most promotes Jewish culture, with a Jewish Museum, a Holocaust Museum, the production of movies about the history of the community and of the Jews in Portugal and the publication of books. These initiatives are part of the local Jewish community’s strategy to foster Jewish culture and fight antisemitism.
Everything is done by the community with no support from either the Government or other public and private entities.
